These terms govern your use of sentinelot.com and the services provided by Sentinel OT ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website or services, you agree to these terms.
Sentinel OT provides passive intelligence reports on publicly exposed industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA infrastructure. Our reports include device identification, firmware-validated vulnerability assessments, operator attribution, decision-maker contacts, and project scope estimates.
Reports are compiled exclusively from publicly available, passive sources. We do not perform active network scanning, penetration testing, or any intrusive reconnaissance.
Our intelligence reports are provided exclusively for defensive modernization purposes. Authorized uses include:
Prohibited uses: You may not use our reports to exploit vulnerabilities, conduct unauthorized access, perform denial-of-service attacks, publicly disclose operator-specific vulnerability details, or for any purpose that could harm the operators identified in our reports.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of our reports, including firmware-level CVE validation and multi-signal operator attribution. However, intelligence is based on point-in-time observations from public sources. Devices may have been patched, firewalled, or decommissioned since our last observation.
Project scope estimates are informed approximations based on industry-standard pricing for comparable modernization projects. Actual project costs will vary based on site-specific conditions, vendor selection, and scope of work.
Reports are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any information.
Reports delivered to you are for your internal business use. You may share report contents with the identified operator as part of a sales engagement, but you may not resell, redistribute, or publish our reports to third parties without written consent.
Pricing for our services — including Pulse Feed subscriptions, individual lead packages, and territory exclusives — is agreed upon separately. Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement.
Our methodology, report formats, validation techniques, and attribution processes are proprietary. You may not reverse-engineer our methods, scrape our website, or attempt to replicate our intelligence pipeline using information gained from our reports.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentinel OT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or reports. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific report or service in question.
We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties based on information in our reports, including actions by the operators identified therein.
We reserve the right to terminate access to our services if we determine that reports are being used in violation of these terms, particularly the intended use restrictions in Section 2.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Calgary, Alberta.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Questions about these terms can be directed to us via our contact form.
